Resfly: One-Click Job Publishing

Hunting for a job is a tough task. There are way too many job boards to keep track of and nowadays, there are job listings in popular social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Then comes the resumes and interviews. While not as tough, employers face a tough time with the recruitment process just like the job seekers.

From getting the job listed in every one of the popular job boards to screening resumes and interviewing candidates, the process gets complex every step of the way. Even a fairly simple task like posting to the web’s most popular job boards with a single click will end up saving a lot of time.

Resfly gets your jobs in front of millions of candidates quickly, easily, and securely. Let’s go take a look.

Overview

Resfly was designed with one simple goal in mind: Get more candidates for your job openings. A powerful algorithm under the hood ensures that your job postings are published to leading job boards – all with one click! The web app doesn’t stop at that and it offers tools to screen applicants, track analytics, host your own portal and more.

Pricing

Pricing

Pricing

Resfly is affordable to boot. Starting at $49, plans are priced based on the number of public job openings at a time. All plans come with a free, hosted job portal and the ability to receive unlimited applications. The web app doesn’t go by the freemium model, but you can try all the plans for five full days. Compared to other job sites, that’s actually not that expensive. Hiring is never simple and easy, so if Resfly can simplify the process for you, it just might be worth it.

Getting Started

Creating a Job Listing

Creating a Job Listing

Without much ado, Resfly takes you straight to the job creation page. The entire process involves three steps and the first one – job description – is self explanatory. Even if you aren’t perfectly clear what to enter in each field, there is a helpful tip balloon to make your task easy.

Salary Information

Salary Information

At the fag end of the form is the very vital salary information section. Drop downs for job type and salary cycle take the ambiguity out of the equation. To conclude, you will have confirm that this listing is not a “work from home”, mystery shopper, or multi-level marketing (MLM) position.

Screening Questions

Adding a Screening Question

Adding a Screening Question

Resfly allows you to add one screening question to your listing. The question acts a filter to judge the knowledge of the applicant. The onus is on the employer to craft that one question that will weed out unqualified candidates. Answers can be in multiple formats including video and you can make this question either mandatory or optional as well.

Publishing the Job

Publishing the Job

That’s it! You are now just a click away from publishing the job opening across 22 popular job boards online. In addition, you can promote the link in Twitter and LinkedIn too. I couldn’t see an option to save the posting for publishing later, but if you skip the publishing step, the job posting will be saved in the My Jobs section for posting later.

Posting to Portal

Posting to Portal

Planning to make the job listing exclusive to your own company portal? Then don’t publish it in the final step. Instead, head over to the My Jobs section, edit the listing and click the Post to Portal button. A similar choice in the third and final step will make the entire process more faster. Publishing to as many job boards as possible is great, but it would be fantastic if there was an option to pick and choose the networks to post to.

Customizing the Portal

Like all other features, the free job portal offered by Resfly is no slouch either. The design is pretty decent and there are a handful themes to customize the overall look.

Job seekers can submit their resumes by clicking on the Apply Now button. Social sharing options help to spread the word quickly among the network of job seekers and visitors of the portal as well. Once you start receiving the applications, you can start evaluating the resumes from the Embedded Resume Viewer built into the app itself.

Analytics

Analytics

The web app’s Dashboard is a powerhouse. Almost all major tasks can be initiated from here. The traffic analytics graph offers a lot of insight into the response for various job openings.

Final Thoughts

I interned at a HR department one summer and witnessed how boring and tedious their jobs become as the day pases by. A major chunk of their working hours is dedicated to logging into and logging off multiple job boards to post jobs and retrieve the resumes. Pre screening and interviewing aren’t fun either.

Resfly addresses many of the annoying things involved in the hiring process. In particular, kudos to the team for coming up with simple, understandable analytics for better tuning the recruitment campaign based on applicant response. And for an app targeting the enterprise segment with deep pockets, the pricing is set reasonably too.
