Happy New Year!

For some, the New Year has already begun. For others, it’s only a few hours away. Not only are we starting a new decade but Web.AppStorm has very recently transitioned to a new editor. For Web.AppStorm, 2010 is going to be a very new year and a fantastic one at that!

As we say goodbye to 2009, it’s a good opportunity to reflect on the progress Web.AppStorm has made as well as where it should be going in the new year. Thank you all for your continued support this year. Moving into 2010 I would like to ensure we are providing the content you all are craving. For this reason, I’d like to outline a few things I’d like to do in 2010 and also get some feedback.

Comments For Improvements

Many of you left great feedback on day 24 of our Christmas giveaway for improvements you would like to see. I’ve read through your comments and have taken note of everyone’s interests and requests. If you didn’t get a chance to leave feedback, please leave a comment below with the improvements you would like to see on Web.AppStorm in 2010.

Upcoming Improvements

As previously mentioned, Web.AppStorm has recently transitioned to a new editor (me). I’d like to take a moment to give a huge thanks to Chris for all the hard and amazing work he’s done. And, as the new editor of Web.AppStorm, I’d like to make sure the site is moving in the right direction.

A few improvements, to get started, will be in content. Here are a few I am planning.

  • More diverse application subjects
  • Head-to-head application comparisons
  • Screencasts
  • More tips and tricks with reviews and other articles
  • Interviews
  • More Twitter activity

Moving Forward

I’m sure these will be just a few of the improvements made over the next year, but if you have ideas for improvement, you’re always welcome (and encouraged) to let me know. Keep in mind you can also submit news tips and/or write for Web.AppStorm if you have something you would like to share.

Don’t forget, we’re on Twitter too!

Happy New Year!

I hope you all have had or will have a safe and happy new year! Feel free to share what you did for this year’s New Year celebration. As for myself, I spent the last day of 2009 in the frigid Aspen weather with my lovely girlfriend.
