We all have done it or thought about it at one time or another: keeping a proverbial Bucket List, a list of all the major things you plan to do. It is one of those things that I don’t necessarily keep a good track of as some other people do, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have things that I want to make sure I do before I pass on. I haven’t necessarily decided whether I should actually sit down and make one at some point as I take the approach of “one day at a time.”

Having the opportunity to try out Bucketlistly over the past couple of weeks has really made me think twice about making a bucket list for myself and our family. The developer of the app has taken what is a simple task and turned it into a social network of sorts. At first I thought the concept was a little interesting, but the more I played with it, the more I started to see how useful it could be. Let me show you more of the app and you can decide for yourself whether you want to use it or not.

Goal setting is an incredibly important practice for our lives. We set goals in order to advance in our careers, learn new skills, pursue passions, get fit and much more. Unfortunately, keeping track of all the smaller steps needed to achieve goals is often difficult. Actually achieving all of the steps and thus the goal is even harder, without some form of external motivation.

That’s where the site WorkSimple comes in. WorkSimple is a social goal-setting and tracking application where users set goals and then share the goals with their peers. This creates a sense of accountability, allowing for the achievement of more goals. WorkSimple offers applications for both businesses and individuals, although this review is focused solely on the individual application. Read on to learn more about the capabilities of WorkSimple and what I thought of it.

As incredible as it may seem, this year is almost over. Many of use made New Year’s commitments last year, only to forget them on January 2nd. It’s so easy to pick up bad habits, but incredibly hard to discipline ourselves to do what’s good for us. If we’d make our New Year’s goal to, say, drink more coffee this year, it’d be easy to do, but if we decide to cut out coffee this year, we’d likely give up.

Sometimes, though, what you need is a proverbial kick to keep you going. Joining a fitness club might get you to exercise better than just saying you’ll run 5k a day on your own. You can’t get others to motivate you to do everything, though, so you’ll need to find better ways to keep yourself going on with your lofty personal goals.

That’s where RoutineTap comes in.

Some of my friends love working out. They enjoy going to the gym, or running, or lifting weights. While I enjoy doing activities like playing Racquetball or Baseball, I find in order to go to the gym, I need some motivation- I need something that will help keep me to whatever fitness goal I happen to have. Skinnyo is a social network that aims to do just that.

All of us have goals. That isn’t the hard part. The real test is whether you stay course and see them through.
