In this Quick Look, we’re highlighting Productive Web Apps. The developer describes Productive Web Apps as an interactive directory that lets you easily search, sort, rate and compare hundreds of the best web applications. As a bit of background small gripe I had with the Chrome Web Store was that there was no ability to subscribe to RSS feeds or receive regular updates when new apps are added each day. This was the main driver why I built the site.

Creating content is a tedious job. While it is so fulfilling when you have the finished product in front of you, it is such a drag when you are working to get it done. In the same vein, discovering best content online has become equally tiresome, thanks to the tens of thousands (probably hundreds of thousands) of new, user generated content showing up online these days.

Many startups are hard at work to find a solution to discover quality content. Thoora too is built with that in mind. The developers claim that the app offers a new way for you to discover, monitor, and share the best of the web: by creating living bodies of knowledge on the topics you choose. That’s an interesting statement, but I would like to test their claim firsthand. Join me after the jump.

Can cool domains names assure the success of a site, blog or brand? No, they can’t. However, a great product combined with a cool domain name does get the word around lightning fast. Your favorite song right now most likely won’t be the same a year from now. After listening to the same music for awhile, you probably start craving something fresh and new. The great thing about the music industry is there’s never a shortage of new music to discover, but discovering it might be a little harder.
