Too..many…great….articles!!!
Need to bookmark so many articles these days lol
Excellent list, but fix the links! They are all mistyped
Oops! It looks like I’m getting double http:// on the links!
Another great site that is an up-and-coming site is GameJolt – http://gamejolt.com – they offer Flash, Silverlight, and downloadable games. There are some real gems in there.
Hmm, strange issue. Sorry folks — they’re updated now.
Newgrounds probably has the biggest community out of all of those websites, it’s also probably the oldest starting way back in the 90’s. It’s also where I met the Internet :’). First community, forever in my heart (and in my 9000 posts on their forums). But alas, we grow up. At least I know a little about “the dark side of the net”
41: http://www.omgpop.com / Love it to kill some time.
That’s my favorite! I can’t believe it’s not on the article
Well i’m from Denmark(Europe) – and we’re using the international casual gamingsite http://www.spigo.com – It’s a great site, and the designs of the games are amazing – However it’s Java games but they have managed to make the games run quite fast.
the + side of http://www.spigo.com is the possibility to play multiplayer games – where you can beat friends and family in their games
Just another recomendation.
You missed what has to be one of the nicest set of flash games out there, http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/ such lovely designs and I would argue some of the most well thought out games.
You forgot http://www.tempestchess.com!
You left out http://www.igrajmo.se

you forgot Quakelive (I know I know its only 1 game but a 3D online/browser game.) and allows multiplayers!
Great article. I wanted to point out our network of sites. We have some really unique stuff going on in our network.
We have our master site currently FreeGameToyz.Com which is our more global portal as well as a testing bed for some of the technology we are playing with.
Then we have our Niche Sites
ShootingGameToyz.Com. FarmGameToyz.Com. DrivingGameToyz.Com. FreeGameLovers.Com
Soon we have our Facebook/MySpace/Bebo/Hi5/Web Application coming out (1-2 Weeks) where we are set up to compete in the mindjolt space. With scores, challenges and some even special stuff like cash tournaments run for high scores.
What we are attempting to do is bridge the gap between the arcades and the social networks and create more social experiences. While the Niche Sites are not part of this, they are design to obtain targeted traffic that can go to our other network sites…
If you have any feedback or questions about our network, drop me an email!
