Tanki is well designed considering that it’s in — and designed with flash. Except for the trees in close up, all the other game play elements like the tanks, drop boxes, shooting effects are all great quality for the web. The game begins with you being placed in an arena to compete with a few other tanks. Tanki Online loads very fast and the response of the tanks are precise without any lag.

Game play is like a wild west showdown except that you are in a tank. You will have to move around the arena to shoot & kill other tanks. There is absolutely no mercy from other players and hence you will have to have a quick response to their shots. There will be occasional armour and medicine drops and if you acquire them before your enemies do, your vital stats go up.

The way a tank goes belly up when it is shattered by opponents is fun to watch (Sadly, that’s me going belly up in the screenshot). New tanks (lives) load instantaneously for you to take revenge.

You can upgrade your tank at the Garage. A lot of the items can be unlocked with points, but if you want to one up other players, you can buy them right away for cold hard cash. All is fair in love and war, right?

Final Thoughts

Tanki Online is fun to play and provides the ultimate combat experience. PC games these days are tougher and tougher to play and at times makes me feel it might be easy to win an Olympics medal. I loved the way the game is designed — simple, uncomplicated and lots of shooting. After a hard day’s work, there cannot be a better game play.
