Christmas Giveaway Day 19: Ballpark

If you’ve been reading this site for a while, you’ll know that I like apps with a little pizzaz. There are always exceptions, but I believe that most often a finely crafted interface speaks to the quality of a tool in all areas.

Ballpark is a perfect illustration of this concept.

Update: Happy Saturday everyone. Thanks for competing for today’s prize and here are our three winners:

  • Jason A
  • Rick Terrill
  • Ariel

Enjoy your weekend everyone! Check back again tomorrow for another great prize giveaway.

About Ballpark

Created to improve the overall process of getting paid by your customers, Ballpark takes the conversation out of your inbox. Whether sending estimates or invoices, receiving payments, or documenting activity regarding a specific contact, Ballpark does it all with panache.

A slick UI and a thoughtful feature set make this a great app for your business.

A slick UI and a thoughtful feature set make this a great app for your business.

And with more sophisticated features like syncing with Highrise and PayPal integration, Ballpark is one of the nicest web applications focused on getting paid.

Our Look/Review at Ballpark

Ballpark was the very first review on this site, and its quality was clear from the beginning.

But it’s easy to focus on the looks of this app and miss how well the developers focused on the process rather than focus only on features.

This sentiment still holds true as the process is still the genius behind the app. But the team at Ballpark have introduced small enhancements over the past few months that have made the app that much better.

A great tool for a sometimes tedious task.

How to Enter

Leave a comment below and let me know if you’d like a one year membership to this app. We’ve got 3 to give away today and the winners will be announced at the end of the day!

And a big congratulations to our winners from Day 18 β€” enjoy Javelin!

And Over at Mac.AppStorm: Socialite

Don’t forget to check out what’s going on over at Mac.AppStorm! Today they’re giving away a few copies of Socialite.

Previously known as EventBox, Socalite has recently been acquired, polished, and re-released by Realmac Software. It provides a central solution for all your social online activity, covering Twitter, Digg, Flickr, Facebook and more. It even has full support for sending interesting items to Instapaper.
